Jason, a young boy from Invergordon, embarked on an incredible journey that would take him around the globe, experiencing both the challenges of war in Iraq and Afghanistan to the performance of music through his bagpipes. From his humble beginnings, he transformed his passion for soldiering and music into a remarkable adventure, serving in the military and captivating audiences with his enchanting melodies along the way.
Throughout his Army career, Jason performed worldwide with The Highlanders Pipes and Drums for over two decades, gracing prestigious events such as The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo and performing for royalty at Buckingham Palace. His skill and passion resonate in every note, backed by extensive training at The Army School of Bagpipe Music and Highland Drumming in Edinburgh where he spent 3 years there as an instructor, bringing a genuine sense of authenticity and professionalism to every occasion.
After leaving the military at the end of 2022, Jason embarked on a new chapter, launching his own bagpiping business dedicated to providing exceptional musical services for all occasions and tuition.
